BIAB stands for builder in a bottle. It is a thicker gel painted over your own nail to add strength while it grows. It is not acrylic, there are no tips involved, and it soaks off or gets infilled rather than being filed back hard.
Four weeks for BIAB, two to three weeks for a standard gel manicure, six to eight weeks for pedicures. If you are growing nails out from damage we will often see you sooner at first.
Yes. Book a soak off and treatment and mention what is currently on. If it turns out to be acrylic or hard gel we will need a little longer, so tell us when you book rather than on the day.
For brow or lash tinting, yes, at least 48 hours before and done in person at the studio. It takes two minutes. Nail treatments do not need one.
There is. A lot of our regulars started as biters. An overlay gives you something smooth that is much harder to get a tooth under, and most people stop within a couple of sets.
The studio is at street level with a flat entrance and no step. There is free two hour parking on Bramley Road and a pay and display car park on Cavendish Street, three minutes away.
Let us know at least 24 hours before and there is no charge. Inside 24 hours we ask for half the treatment cost, because the slot is very unlikely to be filled that late.
Yes. We treat over 16s with a parent present, and there is a chair by the window for anyone waiting. It is a quiet room though, so no big groups.
